Ginger Griffin, Chairperson
Ginger is principal of Ginger Griffin Marketing and Design in Cornelius. In addition to her duties as Chair for Aquesta's Board of Directors, she serves on the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, and, Davidson Day School's Board of Directors. She is a native and lifelong resident of Lake Norman.

Ginger serves as Chairman of Aquesta’s Executive Committee, and also serves on the Compensation/Governance & Community Outreach Committees.

Greg Biffle
Born in Vancouver, Washington, Greg is a stock car driver in NASCAR's Nextel Cup Series, driving for Jack Roush Racing. He also competes in Busch series. Greg is a resident of Mooresville, N.C., and is active in the community. He is founder of the "Greg Biffle Foundation for Animals", working to improve the well being of animals.

Greg serves on Aquesta’s Community Outreach Committee.

Jim Borders
Jim has served as President of AC Control Company Incorporated for more than 18 years. Jim is a Charlotte native and resides in Cornelius.

Jim serves on Aquesta’s Compensation & Governance Committee and the Audit/Compliance Committees.

John Doody - (Director Emeritus)
John is an independent insurance broker from Duxbury, Mass and was a Bank Director for more than 30 years. He is Director Emeritus of the South Shore Hospital in Wemouth, Massachusetts regional acute care health facility. John is on the Advisory Board of the Martin Memorial Foundation in Stuart, Fl and Treasure and Board member of the Mariner Sands Chapel.

Paul Dougovito
Paul brings more than 35 years of banking experience with him to the Aquesta board, including past positions as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Paul serves on the Asset Liability/Investment Committee and the Loan Committee.

Jon Dressler
A Philadelphia native, Jon and his family reside in Concord, North Carolina. Jon is a proprietor of the successful Dressler's Restaurant located in Huntersville, NC, Max's Ally Restaurant in Concord, NC and Dressler's Restaurant in the Metropolitan in Charlotte, NC. Jon also serves as Secretary for Aquesta's Board.

Jon chairs the Asset Liability/Investment Committee and also serves on the Audit Committee and Executive Committee.

Jim Engel – President & CEO
President and CEO of Aquesta Bank, Jim is an Attorney and former partner with the public accounting firm KPMG with more than 21 years experience working with financial institutions. Jim also serves on the Board of Directors for the Lake Norman Chamber, the Board for the Lake Norman Economic Development Committee, the Finance Committee for The Peninsula Club and is a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mark Parish.

Jim serves on both the Executive Committee and the Asset Liability/Investment Committee.

Brian Fletcher
Brian is the Manager of Fletcher Investment Group, LLC and a former CEO of a publicly traded company. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Piedmont Bank in Statesville. Brian lives in Mooresville.

Brian serves on Aquesta's Loan Committee, Asset Liability/Investment Committee and the Executive Committee.

David Goodrum
David, a North Mecklenburg native, is President and General Manager of JD Goodrum Company Incorporated. For more than 24 years, he has operated a successful general contracting business serving the greater Charlotte area. David lives in Cornelius.

David serves on the Loan Committee & Compensation/Governance Committee.

Charles Knox, Jr.
A Charlotte native, Charles is a commercial real estate broker and developer with The Knox Group. He is a past chairman of the Regional Roads Committee, an organization that includes 13 counties of Chambers of Commerce. Charles is a former Chairman of the Board of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, and a former Chairman and current member of the Charlotte Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization. Charles also serves on the Charlotte Region Commerical Board of Realtors

Charles is the Chairman of Aquesta’s Loan Committee, and serves on the Compensation/Governance Committee.

Craig Larsen
Craig is President of Industrial Timber, a manufacturer of wood frames for the upholstered furniture industry. Craig formerly served as Vice President and CEO of the LearningStation in Charlotte.

Craig chairs the Audit/IT Committee for Aquesta, and also serves on the Compensation/Governance and Asset Liability/Investment Committees.

Jim Marsh
Jim is the principal of Marsh Business Solutions, a consulting firm located in Cornelius, North Carolina. He is a former CEO with Tharpe, a Human Capital Performance and Recognition Company. Jim was also President and COO of the Hamilton Watch Division of Swatch USA, and spent 17 years with RJR/Nabisco in senior sales and marketing positions.

Jim chairs Aquesta’s Compensation/Governance Committee and Community Outreach Committee, and also serves on the Audit/IT Committee.

Nelda Wagner
Featuring more than 22 years of residential realty experience, Nelda is a realestate broker and owner/partner of Waterstone Realty in Mooresville. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Charlotte Regional Realtors Association. Nelda previously served as a member of the Sales and Marketing Council for the Home Builders Association of Charlotte.

Nelda serves on the Audit/Compliance and Community Outreach Committees.

Ken Wrench
Featuring 22 years in custom home building industry, Ken has served as president and principal of Augusta Homes, a luxury homebuilder in Cornelius, for the past eight years. In 2001 the Charlotte Business Journal honored Ken as one of 40 under forty top business executives to watch.

Ken serves on Aquesta’s Loan Committee.
